My girls LOVE the American Girl dolls my mom gave them for Christmas. So much so that Lily begged me to buy her and her doll Kit matching outfits out of the AG catalog (a mere 93 buckaroos, plus shipping) for dress-like-your-favorite-book-character day at school this week. Instead, I amazed myself by making a dress for Kit to match the ones I had made last year for my girls! I'm really pretty giddy with my success--I told Lily it probably wouldn't work and to have a backup plan. I can't wait for her to wake up in the morning and see the finished product! I will also take a picture of them in their dresses together, but I couldn't wait and had to take a picture of the doll now. :)
