More uncles

Since we are extremely boy-deficient in our immediate family, we really appreciate our uncles, and we loved having a couple special visits this summer. First, we got a visit from Uncle Phil from Pennsylvania. (I really wanted to say Phil from Philadelphia, but I don't think that's the right part of the state. Darn.)

Anyway, we haven't seen nearly enough of that family for, well, years now, so it was nice to see him when he came into town on business. I would stress how much we miss them and are sad that they are so far away, but they probably get tired of hearing about that. :) We put him on the spot for Family Home Evening, and he shared a great message from the girls about prayer that they put to use the very next day. It was a nice evening.

Another fun uncle visit was Uncle Mitchell coming home from BYU for 2 weeks. Luckily for us, he rode home with a guy from our ward, so he was dropped off at our house and spent his first night home with us. The girls were just a little excited to see him.

It was a great but too-short 2 weeks, although he spent a disproportionate amount of time with us, which was a lot of fun. We played games, watched movies (that started at midnight--oi!), and just really enjoyed having him home.

Cami was none too happy to see him leave again, as you can tell from her "so what if I AM crying?" expression below.
