Happy Birthday, Maya!

My baby girl is 2! Her favorite words today: Mine! Two! Birt-day! (She seems to have found out that last one is a magic word, associated with cake, presents, and toys...)

After being delayed two hours by The Drama With The Wallet (ask me some other time), the two of us went to lunch with Dad and then headed out birthday shopping (inspired by my mom, who had the other two girls overnight, plus, it was easier to just get her present with her along anyway). Maya emerged from Target with a new stroller and baby. She is obsessed with her own stroller, so this was a perfect match. She kept adjusting the baby in the stroller to make sure it was just so.

Here she's giving us her best two-year old smile.

This evening we had cake and ice cream, and she got her very own fishing pole from her sisters, so she wouldn't have to steal theirs any more (see previous post for a more accurate report of their fishing inclinations).

My favorite part was her trying to blow out the candles. She's been practicing for a while now. :)
